The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the application, the choices you make and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:
- Personal Information Provided by You: We collect names; email addresses; usernames; passwords (stored securely using hashing); contact preferences; contact or authentication data; and other similar information.
- User-Generated Content: We collect the data you provide when you update your status (moods, feelings, needs), send messages, or otherwise post content.
- Social Media Login Data: We may provide you with the option to register with us using your existing social media account details, like your Google account. If you choose to register in this way, we will collect the information described in the section called "How Do We Handle Your Social Logins?" below.
All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

If you choose to register or log in to our services using a social media account, we may have access to certain profile information about you from your social media provider. The profile Information we receive may vary depending on the social media provider concerned, but will often include your name, email address, friends list, profile picture as well as other information you choose to make public on such social media platform. We will use the information we receive only for the purposes that are described in this privacy notice or that are otherwise made clear to you on the relevant application.
5. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
6. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security, and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our application is at your own risk. You should only access the application within a secure environment.
7. Do We Collect Information From Minors?
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the application, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the application. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.
8. What Are Your Privacy Rights?
In some regions (like the European Economic Area and United Kingdom), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; and (iv) if applicable, to data portability. Account Deletion
You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. When you delete your account:
- Your user profile and account information will be permanently deleted
- All your status updates and history will be permanently deleted
- Your friend connections and requests will be removed
- All comments and reactions you made will be permanently deleted
- Your notification preferences and settings will be permanently deleted
- All other personal data associated with your account will be permanently deleted
To delete your account, please visit our account deletion page. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
9. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
10. Do We Make Updates to This Notice?
Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Revised" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
